Send Happiness And Renew Esteem
S.H.A.R.E.:
A group of people from the Sims community who take the time to sign guestbooks or send emails when guestbooks are not present, complimenting the person on their work, site layout, or the person themselves if you know them in the sim community. Even some of the most known simmers don't receive kind feedback from their visitors. The purpose is to let others in the community know that their work is appreciated.
Welcome to hopefully the beginning of a wonderful new way of treating others! :) I got the basic idea from visiting N99, when people were talking about how they rarely, if ever, signed guestbooks. Have you ever gotten a compliment, even a small one such as "nice job." Didn't it feel nice to know that what you were doing was recognized, even if it was something you demanded of yourself, such as losing weight or working toward a goal. Many Sim sites are offered for our enjoyment to download. The creator does not have to share, and likewise if you don't like what's offered you don't have to visit. Too many times sim creators have received harsh, negative emails. There is no point to them. Remember this when you Sim-Shop. You don't have to be there. If you don't like it, leave. Its as simple as that. Somebody enjoys it somewhere, I'm sure of it. Secondly, if they are charging for their downloads, also remember that you don't have to buy a subscription. If you keep these things in mind and remember that the creators are doing this as a service to you, and out of a kindness in their heart to share their work, you may find yourself being more grateful and kind in return.
Enough of that! Take some time to look the pages to see how we work, and what you can do to make the Sim Community a more welcoming place.
